How will this affect my payments?

If you are an Auckland member your direct debit membership has been paused and will remain on hold until we re open. Rest assured you will not be charged.

If you are a member outside of Auckland your next payment will occur on your usual billing cycle but the amount may differ.

This is how your next payment will be calculated: All membership payments are made in advance to cover the billing cycle ahead – i.e. the next 7 days for a weekly payment. When a suspension is applied or removed within a billing cycle, there may now be some credit on the membership, or in some instances, an overdue amount. 1) The difference in payment is worked out by putting any days you paid for in advance from prior to lockdown into a credit amount. 2) When the pause ends, any days due until your next payment date will be added onto your regular instalment as a part payment. 3) Therefore the amount will be worked out as – your usual membership payment minus the credit, plus the part payment. Any payments that were owing prior to club closures will be attempted on your next billing date as well. If you have a Paid in Advance membership, upon reopening you will receive the same amount of time back on your membership, so you won’t lose any days.

What is your increased cleaning regime?

  • Additional COVID-19 cleans throughout the day which all Club Managers complete daily and notes down on the schedule the times cleaned and areas which were covered. The schedule followed ensures that we are cleaning every alternative hour - these cleans would cover areas such as door handles, countertops, barbells, weights etc.

  • Contracted Cleaners attend clubs daily, the teams will ensure all bathrooms and showers are cleaned.

  • Jetts Housekeeping Open and Close Checks which is completed by Club Managers daily in addition to the COVID-19 cleaning schedule.

  • We have made available wall mounted hand sanitising stations for our members as well as antibacterial gym wipes.

  • Jetts has adopted the colour-coded cleaning system to ensure staff kitchens, bathrooms/ restrooms and gym equipment are not wiped with one cloth minimising the risk of cross-infection.

Do I need to wear a mask?

You are required to wear a mask whenever possible. You must show up to the gym with your mask. However this is not mandatory while exercising.

How will you do contact tracing?

All clubs have COVID Tracer QR codes at entry points for members to scan in. This will assist the Ministry of Health with any contact tracing. You are also required to swipe into the club with your access tag, this will allow us to trace when you have entered and left the club.

What is the capacity of the volume of people allowed within the club?

You will need to keep 2 metres apart from others. We will only restrict numbers when we need to help with physical distancing.

I have booked a Personal Training session, what should I do?

Please speak directly to your Personal Trainer about rebooking any Personal Training sessions you had booked prior to lockdown.

I’m a paid in advance membership, how will this affect me?
