Hey, I'm Liliana. Certified Personal Trainer & Coach. My story began as a kid, struggling with asthma, hay fever and fatigue that I carried through to my early adult life, which then lead to having hormone imbalances, struggling to sleep properly, struggling to wake up in the morning and facing challenging gut health issues and acne. The symptoms I had were never linked to a specific "root cause". I remember feeling so stuck thinking.. is this really going to be how I feel.. forever? I know what it feels like to have insecurities. I know how much it hurts when someone you know or when someone you don't know makes a hurtful comment about how you look. I know what it feels like to have an inner critical voice, destroying your self-confidence with negative comments. I have experienced that. My personal health journey is far from perfect. I have experienced great times and not so good times. Both physically and mentally, which is why I understand how much transforming my health has impacted my life. A turning point for me was beginning my health journey by investing in a personal trainer. Training gave me a sense of purpose, and although I had no idea what workouts to do or how to improve my health, I knew I had to reach out to a professional for help. I knew I would be in safe hands with a coach who invested in me, guided me and educated me on a training plan and my nutrition. A coach who could also hold me accountable, because every time I had tried to go to the gym myself I was either too tired to make it or I was afraid I would look silly performing a workout incorrectly. I created a solid routine with going to the gym before my work day, early in the mornings.. I was never a morning person, but I always looked forward to my morning gym sessions. I also knew I had someone waiting for me (my coach) which held me accountable to show up for myself. I fell in love with training, the environment, the way I felt. I started getting stronger, I saw results and I could sustain them, I shred excess weight and started looking and feeling great. I learned so much and pushed myself mentally and physically harder than ever before. I gained so much confidence and an unshakable "can-do" growth mindset. Soon after, I decided I wanted to further educate myself and complete a personal training qualification with the intention to obtain a better understanding around technique, form, and nutrition to add to my tool-kit. I managed to overcome poor eating habits, and learn how to work with food instead of starve myself or over-eat. I am grateful for all of my experiences as they made me who I am today and I am also grateful I get to share my learnings with people like you. I hope to empower you, no matter where you are in life right now, or how challenging things might seem for you.
