Motivate Yourself To Move

If you’re looking for some tips and tricks to help you stay motivated to move, then you’ve come to the right place. Check out these 4 tips! 

1. Lay out your clothes the night before 

When it comes to exercise, a little bit of preparation goes a long way - particularly in the morning. So instead of getting up to a 5am alarm and calling it quits after you can’t find the socks you need, lay out your clothes and shoes the night before, so you can get up, get dressed and get going.  

2. Find something you love 

The key to implementing a long lasting workout routine is finding a way to exercise that you love. If you don’t like running, then why not try a bodyweight circuit instead? If you don’t enjoy the way you exercise, you’ll find every excuse not to do it. 

3. Schedule your workouts like you would a meeting 

One of the easiest ways to stay committed to your workouts, is to schedule them in your diary for the week ahead like you would your meetings. You wouldn’t cancel a meeting with your boss, would you? So why should a workout be any different? 

4. Find a workout buddy 

Having a friend or workout buddy to meet up with is one of the easiest ways to hold yourself accountable. Whether it’s helping each other spot during weights, attending a group training session together or even meeting up for a 5km walk and talk, having someone to stay accountable to makes it harder to skip out on.
