HYROX is the ultimate fitness race, combining strength and endurance in a structured, functional workout. It's designed for all fitness levels, whether you're training for race day or just want to mix up your workouts!

What makes HYROX at Jetts different?

Jetts is an official HYROX accredited training club, offering specialised HYROX group fitness classes led by certified HYROX coaches who are also REPs qualified Personal Trainers. These classes are structured to help you build strength, endurance, and confidence, whether you’re training for fun or competition.

Where are HYROX classes available?

I’m an existing Jetts member. Can I add HYROX to my membership?

Yes! For just +$10 per week, you can upgrade your current membership and start booking HYROX classes today. T&C’s apply.

If you would like to upgrade your membership to include HYROX classes, please contact our Membership Team here or call 0800 JETTS 247.

Who are HYROX classes for?

HYROX classes are designed for everyone! Whether you're a complete beginner, looking to improve your fitness, or training for an upcoming HYROX race, these classes are structured to suit all levels.

What happens in a HYROX class?

Each class follows the HYROX training format, blending strength, endurance, and functional fitness exercises in a way that mimics the HYROX race structure. Helping you train like an athlete, no matter your starting point.

Do I need to bring anything to a HYROX class?

All you need is water and a towel! We’ve got everything else covered.

How old do I need to be for the HYROX membership?

16 or over. If you are 16 or 17, a parent or guardian must accompany you to the club during staffed hours to acknowledge and accept the terms of your membership, confirm that you are able to partake in exercise and acknowledge your pre-health questionnaire with a qualified personal trainer. You can then;

  • Participate in HYROX classes

  • use cardiovascular equipment;

  • complete unsupervised resistance training once a qualified personal trainer has assessed your pre-exercise questionnaire;

  • access all clubs 24/7

Do I get any other perks with the HYROX membership?

Yes! As well as getting All Clubs access to 50+ locations nationwide and access to HYROX group fitness classes you also get 48-hour pre-sale to race events! We’ll e-mail you with all the details so make sure you opt in for marketing communications, so you don’t miss out.

What different workout types can I expect to see?
  • AMRAP As Many Rounds As Possible. Sometimes referred to as "As Many Reps As Possible." Cycle through the listed exercises and rep counts, pacing yourself accordingly to maximize your greatest number of rounds and total reps.

  • Partner Workout A format where two partners each tackle a separate task. Partner 1 is the “timer.” Partner 2 works on their assigned task until Partner 1 completes their assigned task. Then they switch roles.

  • TOTM Intervals of 60 seconds with zero rest built in. The athlete has an assigned number of reps to complete. Any time remaining is recovery. The athlete is rewarded for working with pace by receiving a greater amount of recovery.

  • TO2M/TO3M Top of Every 2 Minutes or Top of Every 3 Minutes. Same format as a TOTM but the timer is set for rounds of two minutes or three minutes. It could even be set for rounds of 5 or 10 minutes if the formatting called for it.

  • Intervals Timed periods of work and timed recoveries. Example: 30s/10s; 6 Rnds

  • Tabata Maximum intensity intervals of 20 seconds of work followed by 10 seconds of recovery for 8 rounds.

  • Double Tabata Similar to tabata but 40s/20s; X Rnds.

  • I Go You Go A partner workout where one partner completes a set number of reps while the other partner rests. Once the set is completed, they switch roles.

  • Chipper A series of tasks, typically with extremely high repetitions, where you cannot move to a new task before completing the one preceding it. The coach can decide whether to call the workout when athletes complete all the tasks or to add a set timer where athletes can restart and keep going if time remains once they complete it.

  • Partner Chipper A modified version of a chipper where one partner works on the first task, chipping away at it, while the partner completes a second assignment, typically as the timer. Partners must communicate with each other, indicating how far they are into each task to allow for the most efficient completion of the chipper.

  • Couplet A pair of exercises done in succession.

  • Triplet A trio of exercises done in succession.

How do I register to book a HYROX class?

To book and attend HYROX classes, you’ll need to be on a HYROX membership. This membership gives you full access to 50+ Jetts gyms plus the ability to book HYROX classes online. If you haven't used our booking system before, you will need to register for an account. Follow the steps below to create an account:

  1. Select the club you'd like to attend.

  2. Click on the "Register" button in the top right-hand corner and follow the prompts.

  3. You can then log in and book a class.

How does the waitlist work?

If a class is showing as FULL with a clock on the booking timetable page, you can still join the Waitlist for that class.

Booking a 'Waitlist only' class means you can be promoted into the class if another member cancels more than 2 hours before the class.

You will be notified via email if you have been promoted to the class.

How do I cancel a class booking?

You can cancel the booking online up to two hours before the class starts.

Cancelling can be done multiple ways:

  • Click the link in the booking confirmation email you were sent - "Click here to manage your booking", select the class you would like to cancel, and click "Remove".

OR

  • Log into the club booking site, select the class you would like to cancel, and click "Remove".

There is no confirmation email when you remove yourself from a class, but you will see that the class no longer has a green tick ✅ next to it when logged in.
